The collection consists of transcripts of case proceedings, court documents, evidentiary documents, memoranda, correspondence, affidavits, legal notes, copies of legislation, newsletters, and newspaper articles. The collection consists primarily of files concerning the defense of Georgia death row inmates which reflect the legal efforts of the Southern Center for Human Rights. Also included are documents relating to the Center's efforts to advocate the reform of Habeas Corpus legislation, subject files consisting of newspaper articles on the death penalty and criminal justice, and research files concerning racial discrimination in jury selection.

The collection consists of manuscripts, correspondence, files, clippings, and curriculum materials concerning Brockman's academic career, both as a student and as a professor of chemistry at the University of Georgia. Also included are correspondence, memos, and bulletins regarding his work in the Selective Service as the state Director for Occupational Deferments. The collection also contains personal correspondence, photographs, and financial materials.

The University of Georgia Literary Societies collection consists of records from the Demosthenian Literary Society and the Phi Kappa Literary Society. Predominant materials include minutes, letterbooks, correspondence, and artifacts.

The televison entries series of the Peabody Awards include entry forms, scrapbooks, photographs, abstracts, scripts, and press kits documenting the majority of the entries from 1947 to 2013. Each entry includes the broadcaster, city and state, title of the program, and a description of the contents of the submission.

The collection consists of correspondence, financial papers, photographs, speeches and writings, and printed material arranged in alphabetical order by name or subject. Although the bulk of the material concerns Caldwell's career, some are paersonal and family papers and consist of correspondence with his parents, his brother Alvin, and various aunts, uncles and cousins, including Hattie Dunlop who apparently suffered from paranoia. The farm papers deal with a house and land in Meriwether County that had been in the Caldwell family for many years. Caldwell took it over in 1940, made many improvements, and considered it his legal residence. Boxes 48-50 contain Caldwell's personal financial papers.

The collection consists of printed material, including clippings, application brochures, programs, advertisements, and public relations and training guides; photographs depicting dance instructors, students, and performances; videocassettes, and scrapbooks. The videocassettes are mainly of performances by the Athens Ballet at various locations in Athens, Georgia.

The sales records include financial information regarding the sale of advertising time during radio and television programs. The sales are primarily for commercial products, but there are a few political campaign spots and non-profit announcements. The television sales files predominately consist of invoices for ad spots, while the radion sales files often include ad scripts and correspondence.

This collection includes clippings, correspondence, genealogical files, articles, notes, interviews, transcripts, photographs, and writings, gathered by Joan Titus, relating to Lillian Smith's life and legacy. The correspondence relates to Laural Falls Camp, South Today, Lillian Smith's publications and events, and letters received by Joan Titus regarding Smith. There are several folders of audience reaction cards from screenings of Miss Smith of Georgia from 1964 and 1966.

This collection contains the personal and professional papers of George Abney. Included are papers from his time at Athens High School, through his schooling at the UGA School of Journalism, his service in the United States Air Force in Korea, Japan, and The United States, and throughout his tenure serving as a professor and advisor at the University of Georgia. Papers include many organizations of advertising and public relations groups, the Retired Officers' Association, and several items regarding women's sports at UGA.
