T. Rogers Wade Collection of Herman E. Talmadge Materials, Series IV. Audiovisual Materials includes 12 audiocassettes, three phonodiscs containing campaign jingles for Eugene and Herman Talmadge, 16 quarter-inch open reel audio tapes and one Umatic videocassette containing material from Talmadge's 1980 senatorial campaign, and 18 VHS videocassettes, the bulk of which are copies of Herman Talmadge's lenthy interview with Mel Steeley as part of West Georgia College's Georgia Political Heritage oral history program.

Biographical / historical:

T. Rogers Wade was chairman of Herman E. Talmadge's 1980 re-election campaign, as well as a former administrative assistant and chief political fundraiser for the senator in Washington, D.C.
