The collection consists of papers of Thomas Hubbard McHatton and the McHatton and Lustrat families including account books, clippings, correspondence, diaries, financial records, legal documents, plantation accounts, postcards, printed material, and scrapbooks. The collection documents Thomas H. McHatton's activities in World War I, World War II, and the American Legion; activities of Joseph and Eleanor Lustrat including her involvement with the Red Cross in World War I; Marie L. McHatton's activities with the Garden Club of Georgia (Athens) including correspondence and printed material on gardens or garden clubs in Georgia and the United States; and James Alexander McHatton family papers pertaining to the family's flight to Cuba after the Civil War, their life on a plantation in Cuba, and their return to the United States. The collection also includes photographs (1870-1900) of the Chinn, Lustrat, and McHatton families; printed material pertaining to Norwich (Conn.); publications (1903-1932, with gaps) of Spring Hill College (Mobile, Ala.); publications (1889-1908) of Dr. Henry C. McHatton; financial records (1919-1939) of Thomas H. McHatton; manuscripts of Eliza C. McHatton Ripley's book From Flag to Flag; and postcard albums.

The collection consists of fourteen handwritten letters between Dr. E. J. Eldridge and his wife, Emma, while he served as a surgeon with the 16th Georgia Infantry Regiment and later with Cobb's Legion from 1861-1865. His letters tell of his duties, provide descriptions of battles, and document his health. Emma's letters discuss family and political issues. Also included are fifty-seven photocopies of letters, nineteen loose envelopes, and two photographs of the Eldridges.

The collection consists of various loose pages of manuscripts dating from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, some rubricated with ornate initials and borders. Eight items are on vellum, three contain musical notation, are in Latin and appear to be religious in nature. One document is a leaf from the 1479 Biblia Latina by Nicholas Jenson of Venice. Also included is a full-page metalcut of the Virgin Mary from a French book of hours and Seven illuminated initials by Giovanni da Cramariis.

One playbill of performances at Theatre Royal, Covent Garden announcing Ira Alrdridge's appearance as Othello in Shakespeare's tragedy "Othello". This was Mr. Aldridge's first performance at a major London theatre. Sheridan Knowles's roles in "The Hunchback" and "The Elfin Sprite and the Grim Grey Woman" and Madame Vestris's and Mr. Power's roles in "The Invincibles" also advertised alongside a new unlisted play.

This set is incomplete and includes scripts from episodes 96-199, 300-600, 5301-6450, and 7116-7325. The 1956-1958 scripts were personally owned by Bob Keeshan. Also included are a first draft script for the 25th anniversary episode dated March 2, 1981, program abstracts from 1968-1969, 1958 press kit, and transparencies and negatives.
