This collection consists of materials generated by the Willson Center during the years 1987 to 2012. It has the Center's newsletters (1987-2012), publicity materials (1990s-2000s) and items associated with the International Symposia Series (1994-2006). There are articles and essays authored by former director Betty Jean Craige (1984-2010) and newspaper/magazine articles, etc. from 2001 covering the 40th anniversary of UGA's desegregation. In addition, there are items related to the Delta Prize for Global Understanding (1999-2012) and a scrapbook that features photographs and documents from events at the Willson Center during the years 1987 to 1999. There are also numerous DVDs, CDs and audio cassettes.

This collection mostly consists of University of Georgia academic related material dating from the 19th century through 1945 but does hold a few records dating to 1978. Some academic items include recordbooks (grade reports and class records), graduation information, correspondence, application and transferral forms along with material related to various student organizations. Among the artifacts are such things as a time capsule dating from 1872. Some items of particular interest are two tuition books dating from 1821 to 1826 and 1838 to 1850. There also are 1932-1938 records from the Coordinate College and a large number of student reports from 1905 through 1916 (grades, correspondence, etc.) relating to Charles Mercer Snelling's time as a professor and dean at the University.

Included is a series of Henry King Stanford's personal papers which consist of primarily correspondence and speeches, and range in date from 1934 to 2008.

Also included in the collection are various pieces of memorabilia and scrapbooks.

The collection consists of business and personal letters, 1860-1946 (and undated) reports, University forms, University extension lectures on Greek Drama, and approximately 600 manuscript cards in Greek and English concerning a translation of the Bible (New Testament gospels) done by Dr. Bocock. The collection also contains fifteen volumes of World War I scrapbooks, including an index. These scrapbooks contain clippings, printed material, a few letters, pictures, and maps. All pertain to World War I and the subsequent peace treaties.

Horace T. Ward: Desegregation of the University of Georgia, Civil Rights Advocacy, and Jurisprudence documents Horace Ward, the first African American to sue for admission to an all-white college or university in Georgia. The papers are mainly photocopies of transcripts from court cases, clippings, and correspondence from former University of Georgia law professor James J. Lenoir and Red and Black student editor Walter Lundy, both of whom resigned positions at the university due to the school's resistance to desegregation. Specific court cases documented include Ward v. Regents of the University System of Georgia and Holmes v. Danner.
