The collection consists of the papers of H.W. Harvey relating mainly to his work as an extension horticulturist from 1919-1948. The papers include county files comprised of applications for assistance of the landscape specialist, landscape drawings, some photographs, and Harvey's index card file which includes brief descriptions of projects in each county. The collection also includes membership lists (1926-1932) of the Georgia Horticultural Society.

The collection consists of a document dated 2 June 1871 that appoints a board of visitors to attend the second annual examination of the Normal and Prepatory Departments of Atlanta University. It is signed by Rufus B. Bullock as governor of Georgia. Among those named as members of the board are Joseph E. Brown, John Livingston Hopkins, W.A. Hemphill, Dr. S.H. Stout, and J. I. Whitaker. The present document is a true copy by H.C. Courson, Secretary of the Executive Department.

George Wagner family papers, 1847-1899

Abstract Or Scope:

The collection consists of United States currency, Confederate currency, the Appointment of George Wagner as Captain of Company I, 110th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment, and an indenture of apprenticeship for George Wagner to learn the art of gold beating. The collection also includes an old stove catalog used as a scrapbook, created by Susan Kinner Courtright, and five photographs. Three photographs depict warships of the Spanish-American War period; one photograph portrays five engines wrecked in Sussex County, N.Y. during the Blizzard of 1888; and a final photograph is a group shot of H.A.A. Football players in 1895.
