This collection contains the papers of Colonel Richard Dennis and his family. The majority of the collection is comprised of correspondence, but it also includes genealogical information, legal and land documents, and ephemera. Much of the correspondence involves Dennis' business and the settlement of his estate and property in Georgia following his death in 1845. Additional subjects covered include Savannah's economy during the War of 1812, gold mining in Georgia, and the sale of people he enslaved.

This collection contains the papers of Rebecca L. Griggs, a student of Reverend I. R. Branham's Private Academy for Young Ladies in Eatonton, Georgia from during the mid-19th century. Most of the collection is comprised of Rebecca's letters home to her mother about school and social activities. Other correspondence includes invitations to social events, a love letter from a suitor named D. T. Singleton, a letter from her cousin Fannie Holt about Rebecca's upcoming marriage, and a letter from Rebecca to her husband. There are also a few receipts and visiting cards.

This collection contains correspondence, photographs, and ephemera of the Brock family, as well as a few photographs of the Sutton family. Some of the Sutton family photographs are contemporary photographs of early to mid 20th century photographs. Much of the correspondence is comprised of letters to Macon and Florence Brock from Macon's mother and sisters Para and Bonnie. Other items relating to Para Lee Brock include some genealogical notes, research notes for an article on Robert E. Lee published in the 1965 "Georgia Review", and an extensive photograph album of the 1941 WATL Travel Scholarship Tour including some photographs of the 1942 tour, a 1941 trip to Mexico with friends, and a trip to the mountains of Northern Georgia with her sister Bonnie.
