Ledgers also document McIntosh Education Union (also referred to as McIntosh Union no. 279, and McIntosh Farmers Education Union of America, no. 279) history. Information recorded includes elected officers, membership lists, dues collected, and expenses sent to treasurer.

The collection consists of copies of documents, textual and audio, accumulated during Thomas M. West's successful challenge - in the case of Timothy Dawson vs. The State of Georgia - to the state of Georgia's law prescribing death by electrocution in the electric chair in death penalty cases. This includes fifteen digital copies of 22 Georgia electrocutions of prisoners between 1983 and 1996. These recordings are copies of West's tapes which were themselves dubs of original tapes recorded by members of the state's Department of Corrections for their own records, and later subpoenaed and entered into state court records as part of challenges to the electric chair statute. In addition, the collection includes copies of materials (transcripts, documents, affidavits, autopsy records, etc.) West and his co-counsel Robert Citronberg had accumulated to date of donation (August 2004) in support of legal challenges to the Georgia statute prescribing lethal injection as the new means of state execution.

The collection consists of letters that were exchanged between William Few, his wife Catherine and their children. Catherine Few also wrote letters to her sister Maria Few Montgomery, her grandchildren and her friend, Harriett Woodward Murray. There are several letters written by Joseph Hopper Nicholson (1770-1817), cousin of Catherine Few, to Frances Few. Writings and a biographical sketch of William Few are included. These are family letters describing such topics as children, health, social activities, local and foreign travel and weather, there is also commentary on political and military matters. Some of the letters of Joseph Nicholson mention his part in the War of 1812 bombardment of Fort McHenry in Maryland.

The collection consists of a notebook of William Tatham dated 1796. The notebook contains "an introductory and recommendatory address" by Tatham to the head of the M.C. Majesty's Botanic Garden in Madrid, Spain. Tatham describes various gardens in the United States, particularly in the Southern States. The appendix contains a list of indigenous plants in the United States and East and West Florida; notes on experiments in watering plants; the medicinal uses of Verbena; and the production of sugar from sugar maples.

There are folders for each person interviewed, a signed consent form, along with a printed transcript of the interview. Some folders contain photographs of the person interviewed, photocopies of newspaper articles, or typewritten notes about the individual; and a written history. Interviewees talk about experiences of being Jewish in America, social conditions, peace for Israel, and temple affiliation. The final folder contains the oral history questionnaire used by Burt Sparer while conducting interviews, and the list of congregants who contributed oral histories.
