The envelopes were arranged alphabetically by the information recorded by Richter, but have been rearranged in five broad categories: campus groups, locations, and events; World War II at UGA; university athletics; fraternities and sororities; and individual portraits. In a few instances, damage to an envelope obliterated information. In several other cases the negatives were damaged, but images were still taken from them for historical interest.
