This photograph collection consists of family albums from the early 1880s to the 1890s, containing mostly gelatin type prints. There are also a few ferrotypes. Most of the albums contains pictures of women, men, and children. Two of the albums contain reprints of National Archives negatives taken during the Civil War, including pictures of battle fields and of destruction in Georgia, and one album is a collection of pictures of Civil War generals, including an index for reference.

The family papers include genealogy research, correspondence, clippings, photographs, land grants, deeds, wills, diaries and printed material related to the Gibbs, Wynn/e, Allen, Burns, Chenault, Fisher, and Parker families between 1826-2014. The Wynne family name has several variations in spelling including Wynne, Wynn, and Winn. In his 1912 article about the Wynn family reunion, Gus Edwards spells the surname without a final "e." He goes on to write, "In the long ago the family name used to be spelled with a final 'e,' thus, Wynne, but in later years somehow or other the family began to write simply, W-y-n-n." The ancestors of Robert Adin Gibbs (1874-1944) and Theola Fisher Parker (1876-1951) encompass the five major family lines in this collection. The collection also includes an address book, family bible, account book, recipe, receipts, and Civil War-era letters by various family members including those between Eliza Jane Wynne (1837-1916) and her husband Charles Rollin Gibbs (1835-1903).

The collection consists of miscellaneous material, including several masonic documents of William L. Mitchell's, several letters of recommendation for William L. Mitchell including ones by Moses Waddel and Henry Jackson, class notebooks and calligraphic exercises of Henry B. Mitchell, sketches, poetry, and a variety of family-related manuscript materials. There are also two small photograph albums of family members (most unidentified) with one containing several carte-de-visites of Confederate military leaders. In addition, there is an unidentified tintype of an African American woman in striking Asian attire.

The collection consists of three photograph albums (including cabinet cards, carte-de-visites, and tintypes) of images of Cobb and related family members. Also in this collection are a scrapbook, photographs, clippings, printed material, certificates pertaining to Tinsley White Rucker III. Most of this material is dated 1960-1962 and pertains to part of the time he was President of Dixon-Powdermaker Furniture Company in Jacksonville, Florida and President of the National Association of Furniture Manufacturers. There are also a few membership cards and certificates of his son Tinsley White Rucker IV. The collection also includes several rolled copies of the Lamar family tree.

The collection consists of correspondence (from George H. Keeler, Milton and Louise Keeler, et al), diaries, documents, ledgers, journals, scrapbooks, sheet music, broadsides, newspapers, musical manuscripts, postage stamps, postcards, books on local history, photographs and other related printed ephemera spanning dates from 1817 to the 1960s. The documents mostly relate to the families of George King Camp and George H. Keeler; included are an appointment as Postmaster of Marietta (signed by William Howard Taft, 1910), Cobb County land deeds, Confederate bonds, and receipts. Photographs include a record of Sarah Atwood Camp's travels via steamship; an album of albumen photographs of Florida, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Martinique, Antiqua, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, and Cuba; and daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, cartes-de-visite, and tintypes of family members.
