Most are interior views and many of them show customers or employees. Three photographers' stamps appear: Apostolu and Kile, Carl Dixon, and Associated Photographers.

The collection consists of photograph albums, clippings, printed material, and essays collected and constructed by Laura McManus, pertaining to Laurel Falls Camp and Lillian Smith, from 1925-1966. Photographs (several of which are annotated and dated) depict campers and counselors; and a scrapbook made in the craft shop at Laurel Falls, contains drawings of leaves and photographs portraying campers participating in camp activities, such as dances, archery, performances, and cabin life. Of special interest is I, Laura, a booklet made by McManus upon her return to Camp in 1950, containing photographs from her time at Camp Laurel in 1935. The collection also includes a journal article by Lillian Smith, and issues of The North Georgia Review and Pseudopodia (both edited by Smith).

The collection consists of one letter dated August 4, 1839, to Alexander H. Stephens in Crawfordville, Georgia. In the letter, Linton relates the details of his travels by stage to Athens to attend the University of Georgia. Once in Athens he discusses meeting Dr. Alonzo Church and Joseph and Lewis LeConte, taking his college entrance examination, joining Phi Kappa Literary Society, and finding living accommodations and a roommate. The collection also includes one undated photograph of Alexander H. Stephens as a young man.

The collection consists of correspondence, military papers and photographs of William E. Franklin from 1917-1943. Correspondences are written by Franklin while stationed in Camp Forrest, Georgia, Camp Mills, New York, and France. Military papers include equipment requests and lists, pay allotment, a list of officers in the 3rd Battalion, 111 Army Composite Regiment, invitation to the Officers Club, and a membership card of the National Association of the Sixth Division United States Army. Photographs depict Franklin and other soldiers in military uniform and on horses. Also included are photographs of cyclone damage in Chipley, Georgia in 1908.

Issues of newsletters and magazines concern the religious radio show "Church of Your Choice," winner of a Peabody Award. The collection also includes Harmon's Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award and George Foster Peabody Award, information about the Peabody Award, advertisements and radio schedules from WDOL Radio, advertisements and information about "Radio-Advertising Clinic," and some photographs.

The collection consist of papers of and about Jack Martin. A large portion of the collection consists of A Little Bit About This and That clippings, Martin's column published in the Athens Banner-Herald. Also included are resolutions designating Martin as an Honorary Historian of the State of Georgia, newspaper clippings concerning awards presented to Martin, copies of articles and books written by Martin (including History of St. Mary's Hospital and The Only Double-barreled Cannon). Also included are several newspaper clippings mentioning Jack Martin dressed up as Santa Claus; and a photograph taken at Ben Epps Airfield, Athens, Georgia in 1932, depicting the arrival of Martin dressed as Santa Claus in a Ford tri-motored plane.
