The collection consists of eight small manuscript notebooks attributed to Thomas Stephens; however, the author is unknown. The entries are undated, but were kept during the early years of Georgia's settlement. The writings document the arguments made by the Malcontents against the Georgia Trustees' administration of the colony. Notebooks contain handwritten entries, in pencil with ink overlaid, regarding tariff, slavery, voyages, rum, and the condition of Georgia.

The collection consists of papers of Annie Disosway, her relatives and descendants. Correspondence is addressed to Annie in New York City; and Kingsland Coffyn in Maine, New Hamphsire, and New York City. A letter to Annie Disosway from "R." in Olney, Maryland, describes in detail the Confederate troops coming to the family home. Diaries kept by Annie Disosway describe her move to New York, attendance at female seminary, and her family; contain her thoughts on the American Civil War; and describe her brother's enlistment in the First New York Mounted Rifles, his serious illness, and her travels to the camp of the Lincoln Cavalry (Camp Meigs) to care for him. A third diary kept by Annie contains reminiscences of past Christmas seasons. A fourth diary kept by Louise Disosway describes various family matters. Further writings include a school composition book of Winnona Adams, a handwritten newsletter edited by Louise Adams, and lessons and lecture notes written by Annie Disosway Adams regarding mental healing, the Iliad, French history, and her husband's death. The collection also includes wills of Achsah Wilkins, Cornelius Ryerss Disosway, and Israel Disosway; and the Commission of Cornelius R. Disosway, Chaplain of 10th Regiment.

The Student Government Association (SGA) records consists of three series: "General Administrative Materials", "Allocations" and "Scrapbooks". The first series, "General Administrative Material", holds general information about the organization, such as minutes and brochures, along with photographs. These documents were originally in binders and date from 1995 to 2010. The second series, "Allocations", covers financial allotments given to small clubs and organizations at the University of Georgia. The materials in this series were also originally in binders and cover the years 1996-2006. The third series, "Scrapbooks", holds photographs and other organizational memorabilia. The pages which date from 1989 to 2010 have been removed from the actual scrapbooks and are housed in oversized flat boxes.

The collection consists of 20 boxes of materials, including candles and candle-holders (largest component by volume), myriad original and copied textual materials, posters, photographs, flags, lanterns, license plates, ceramics, medallions, jewelry, small fabric arrays and perishable floral offerings. The floral and candle components were sampled, and inscriptions in-situ were photographed. Among the more significant items is a sketchbook turned into a book of inscriptions where passers-by could share their thoughts. The collection also includes smaller additions of materials left at the Arch on the first and second anniversaries of the event (2002 and 2003).

The collection consists of miscellaneous material, including several masonic documents of William L. Mitchell's, several letters of recommendation for William L. There are also two small photograph albums of family members (most unidentified) with one containing several carte-de-visites of Confederate military leaders. In addition, there is an unidentified tintype of an African American woman in striking Asian attire.

Genealogical information is included on the Everett, Burke, Brinson, Foy, Dasher, and Anderson families of Effingham, Screven, Richmond, Jefferson, Emanuel, and Houston counties. Varied papers and pictures are included concerning the Overstreet and Scott families of Emanuel County, and the Braun family of Cleveland, Ohio and Daytona Beach, Florida. Included are a letter and telegram from Ernest Neal, poet laureate of Georgia in the 1920s and 1930s. The collection also contains several metric survey plats, a metric deed and correspondence relating to them.
