The collection consists of papers of Benjamin Conley from 1842-1884. The collection consists mainly of correspondence to Conley relating to his business practice, his presidency of the Macon and Augusta Railroad, his participation in the 1867 Constitutional Convention, as Georgia Governor, and as Postmaster of Atlanta.
