The collection consists of three scrapbooks. The Utica Observer-Dispatch and The Utica Daily Press, Utica, New York scrapbook
contains newspaper articles regarding National Newspaper Week, departments running the newspapers, activities and importance
of the press, and freedom of the press. The scrapbook also contains names of editors of each paper (Emlyn Evans, Charles King,
Paul Williams, and Harold Moore). A letter to Dean John E. Drewry, Henry W. Grady School of Journalism, University of Georgia,
indicates that the scrapbook of the Utica newspapers is an entry in the Newspaper Association Managers, Inc. National Newspaper
Week contest. The Yakima Morning Herald and The Yakima Daily Republic, Yakima, Washington scrapbook contains newspaper articles,
editorials and advertisements from the Yakima newspapers printed during National Newspaper Week in 1951. A letter to Dean
John E. Drewry concerns what newspapers in Yakima, Washington are doing to promote National Newspaper Week. The WSAV-TV, Savannah,
Georgia scrapbook contains the station's entries in the Associated Press Awards Competition in 1963. Each page indicates category,
title of show nominated, and has a GAPBA News Awards entry blank, photographs or colorful sketches, and information about
the show or stories nominated. Titles of show and stories include Eleventh hour, Dateline Savannah, 3 for the show, Candid
opinion, The death of President Kennedy, and Coverage of integration demonstration.

Fleming with Company G of the 8th Georgia Infantry Regiment, wrote Lizzie from near Richmond, Virginia from March-October
1864.

are included with the minutes and contain accounts audited, approved, paid and the names of the payees; poll taxes paid, general
taxes paid; and the names of any loan defaulters.
