The Harriette Austin papers consists of three series: Creative Writing (1970s-2008), Personal Materials (1979-2016) and Photographs
(1917-2007). The Creative Writing series consists of Harriette Austin's writings and manuscripts generated over the years
by her Creative Writing students. The Personal Materials series includes her Vita, Obituary, correspondence and other materials.
The third series holds photographs which date from 1917 through 2007. They mostly feature photographs of her Creative Writing
students.
