The collection consists of papers of Charles Coburn from 1892-1959. The collection includes scrapbooks, scripts, photographs,
and interviews. The scrapbooks contain mainly newspaper and magazine clippings dealing with Coburn's film, theater, and television
career; his involvement in the Mohawk Drama Festival (1935-1940); and scrapbooks of a more professional nature. The collection
includes stage, radio, film, and television scripts and stage and screen photographs of productions in which he appeared.
The papers also include Coburn's collection of celebrity photographs, albums containing photographs (1937-1952) of Coburn
portraying characters in various productions during his years in Hollywood; typed transcripts of interviews of Coburn by Victor
Rosen from November 1955 - April 1956; and printed matter relating to the Coburn Players (1909-1918) who presented classic
stage productions at American universities and colleges.

The collection consists of three photograph albums (including cabinet cards, carte-de-visites, and tintypes) of images of
Cobb and related family members.
Also in this collection are a scrapbook, photographs, clippings, printed material, certificates pertaining to Tinsley White
Rucker III. Most of this material is dated 1960-1962 and pertains to part of the time he was President of Dixon-Powdermaker
Furniture Company in Jacksonville, Florida and President of the National Association of Furniture Manufacturers. There are
also a few membership cards and certificates of his son Tinsley White Rucker IV. The collection also includes several rolled
copies of the Lamar family tree.

The collection consists primarily of correspondence, financial papers, clippings, and photographs. The correspondence documents
the written communication of the Mdivani siblings, spouses, and other relatives, as well as friends and acquaintances, and
focuses on family, health, and social life, among other topics. The financial papers in the collection consist of legal documents
about the estates of the deceased, communication with attorneys, banks, and retailers, inventories of assets, and receipts
from large purchases. The clippings, which date largely from the 1930s, mainly cover weddings, divorces, and deaths in the
Mdivani family, as well as their social lives, hobbies, and gossip surrounding their relationships. Photographs document the
lives of all five Mdivani siblings and their many spouses and include images of childhood and family life, weddings, social
events, travels, residences, hobbies, personal belongings, recreation, and the military career of General Zakhari Mdivani.
The collection also includes the diaries of Dennis Conan Doyle and Anthony Harwood, scrapbooks, genealogy, and artifacts,
such as Conan Doyle's racing trophy.

and land documents from the Kunze and Johnson families of Georgia, as well as the Ballister family from Kentucky, among others.

Other items relating to Para Lee Brock include some genealogical notes, research notes for an article on Robert E. Lee published
in the 1965 "Georgia Review", and an extensive photograph album of the 1941 WATL Travel Scholarship Tour including some photographs
of the 1942 tour, a 1941 trip to Mexico with friends, and a trip to the mountains of Northern Georgia with her sister Bonnie.

of letters (1853-1886) from Milton E. Bacon to his children. Written after his tenure at SFC, Bacon is living in Okolona,
then Aberdeen, Mississippi where he is involved in female academies. The letters discuss mainly family news, emphasizing the
education of his grandchildren and his current position. The collection also includes the personal correspondence of Charles
C. Cox (1883-1905) mainly to and from his wife Alice Bacon Cox, his daughter Alice Cox, and his friend Clem P. Steed of Macon,
Georgia.
Also included are records relating to the Southern Female College (LaGrange, Ga.), Cox College (LaGrange and College Park,
Ga.), and Cox College and Conservatory (College Park, Ga.) including college catalogs (1867-1922, with gaps); programs; newspaper
clippings; scrapbooks (1857-1912, with gaps) containing programs, flyers, and newspaper clippings; and photographs of the
Southern Female College and the Cox family.

The collection consists of the papers of Walter B. Hill and the Hill family from 1818-1941. The papers include correspondence,
legal documents from Hill's law practice, notebooks containing Hill's law lectures or class notes, an 1878 diary of Hill's
daily activities, photographs, scrapbooks of clippings documenting Hill's career, speeches, and writings of Hill, letterbooks,
and printed material pertaining to temperance activities in Georgia and the United States. The correspondence is mostly between
family members discussing personal business but a few pertain to Hill's professional career and discuss education in Georgia,
politics, or articles written by Hill. Correspondents include Hill's parents Mary Clay Birch Hill and Barnard Hill, his brother
Herbert C. Hill, his wife Sallie Parna Barker (Hill), and children Parna B. Hill, Mary Minot (Brown), and Roger M. Hill. The
letterbooks (1888-1893 and 1898-1899) mainly pertain to Hill's law practice with the firms of Hill & Harris (Macon, Ga.) or
Hill, Harris and Birch (Macon, Ga.), but also include information on Hill's activities with the Georgia Bar Association and
temperance societies.
After Hill's death in 1905, the correspondence is between Sallie B. Hill, Parna B. Hill, Mary M. Brown, and Walter B. Hill.
Much of the materials pertain to Sallie's work with farmer's wives as part of the University of Georgia's extension service,
Parna's activities with canning and poultry clubs through the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, and both women's service with the
League of Women Voters of Georgia.

The collection consists of correspondence, writings, printed material, photographs, financial papers, and scrapbooks. The
correspondence is divided into family and business with family letters mainly among Alexander H. Stephens, John A. Stephens
and Linton Stephens. They discuss family matters, politics and legal cases. Included is a letter from Alexander H. Stephens
describing his trip to Athens to take his entrance examination, in which he describes the university and town as well as the
countryside between Athens and Washington, Georgia. Business correspondence includes letters from Herschel Johnson, Howell
Cobb, Joseph E. Brown, and Joseph H. Lumpkin. There are also items relating to John Stephens' imprisonment at Johnson Island
(OH) during the Civil War. Letters during wartime included lists the members of the Stephens Rifles, flag design proposals,
petitions for military positions, and discussions on the release of a Union officer from Andersonville. There is a folder
of 1851 correspondence concerning a possible duel between Thomas W. Thomas and James M. Smythe, and materials regarding the
surveying of Michigan and Texas Territories. Printed material includes several speeches of Alexander H. Stephens. The scrapbooks
contain newspapers clippings about Alexander H. Stephens. Included is a plantation account book of the Simpson plantation,
in which are lists of enslaved people, a journal of daily farm work, printed rules for managing farms and slaves, and signed
contracts with freedmen.
