The related materials include photographs, memorabilia, and a scrapbook. The collection of over 700 unique photographs illustrates the life and career of Congressman Stuckey. Included in the collection are some family photos, but the majority of the prints are from the period when Stuckey was campaigning for the United States Congress from Georgia's Eighth District and activities related to his position as a US Congressman. This series also includes plaques, citations, proclamations, resolutions, and presentation certificates received by Stuckey throughout his political career. The scrapbook includes clippings from newspapers and magazines, including news and feature items. Represented are Stuckey's re-election bid for his U.S. House of Representatives seat and the successful legislation of making Cumberland Island a National Seashore.

Audiovisual Materials includes seventeen 16mm films, two 2-inch open reel video tape, three betacam videocassettes, one audiocassette, five dictation discs, one DVD, one phonodisc, and 26 quarter-inch open reel audio tapes, documenting campaign ads and policy-related activities, as well as a series of transcribed audio programs hosted by Stuckey discussing issues of the day with his contemporaries in the federal government. Four items from this collection have been digitized and are available for viewing online. The Reflections on Georgia Politics Oral History Collection consists of interviews with politically prominent Georgians conducted by Bob Short since 2007. Interviewees include former governors, members of both the U.S. and Georgia Congresses, secretaries of state, lobbyists, journalists, lawyers, activists, and relatives of prominent politicians. Included with these oral histories are a few public programs recorded at Young Harris College in 2006-2007. Most interviews were recorded in the homes and offices of interviewees or in the Bob Short Oral History Studio at the University of Georgia. The conversations cover many topics at the intersection of politics and public life in modern Georgia, with a particular strength in gubernatorial contests, the Civil Rights movement, reapportionment, the development of Atlanta, the rise of the Republican party in Georgia, political journalism, and the interaction between religion and politics.

Herman E. Talmadge Collection, Subgroup C, Series VI: Political files document Talmadge's campaigns for the United States Senate seat in 1956 and his re-election campaigns of 1966, 1974 and 1980. Included in this series are correspondence, mailing lists, newspaper clippings, speeches, guest registers, scrapbook, receipts, expenditure reports, printed materials, newsletters, tax returns, and political opinion polls. The purpose of the opinion polls was to reflect support that Talmadge might expect during an election year. There are also materials pertaining to an attempt by some Georgians to persuade Talmadge to run for governor of Georgia in 1966.
