The collection consists of photographs, undated, portraying images of mostly unidentified military hospitals during World War I. One photograph with an identified hospital shows a group of officers and nurses in front of Officers Ward U.S. Army General Hospital No. 1. Photographs depict various groups of doctors, nurses, and wounded soldiers; and dining halls, dining staff, and a hospital baseball team. A few photographs are of nurses, probably at the nurses' rest home, and German soldiers in the field.

The photographs include publicity shots and images of her in the studio, interviewing celebrities on her show as well as in other places (including the Star Weekend in Atlanta), and reporting at local events.
