Scope and Content

The collection consists of photographs and two notices, from the Public Relations Division of the United States Coast Guard, Washington D.C. Photographs depict Coast Guardsmen engaging in combat operations in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans during World War II. One notice regards oil paintings displayed by Coast Guard Combat Artist Russell S. Dickerson. The other notice regards an exhibit in Washington, D.C. listing judges and winners of the show.
