Abstract Or Scope:

This collection has a number of Craige's essays along with information about the books that she wrote on a variety of topics including literature, politics, Alvar, Eugene Odum and her parrot Cosmo. There are brochures and photographs from The Delta Prize for Global Understanding (1999-2002, 2004-2009). The winners of this award include internationally known figures such as Desmond Tutu, Mikhail Gorbachev and Nelson Mandela. There are audiovisual materials documenting interview between Craige and Eugene Odum and others. There are also photographs of Craige with Art Rosenbaum standing in front of the mural that he painted at the Willson Center and of Alvar (Sunol) and her at his home in Spain.

The collection consists of World War I materials including military manuals, correspondence, orders, photographs, maps, artifacts, a scrapbook, and Martin's diary, from Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., Camp Greene, Charlotte, N.C., Camp Mills, Long Island, N.Y., and American Expeditionary Force, Europe. All materials were received in Martin's World War I trunk. Each box has an inventory of items within the container.

The collection consists of Cheatham's research and writing on topics such as the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, the life of former Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin) CEO Thomas G. Pownall, and athletics. The collection also features his research on other topics, often related to southern history, as well as his newspaper sportswriting and transcripts of radio commentary. Research-related materials include his notes, correspondence, and photocopies of sources. A small portion of the collection contains personal writing and correspondence.

The electronic records contain a range of legislative, campaign, and political documents, but are maintained separately from the paper records.

Joe Wilkinson is a former member of the Georgia House of Representatives. He is a fifth generation Atlantan who graduated from the University of Georgia. After college, Wilkinson went to Washington to serve Presidents Ford and Reagan as a member of the White House Press Office. Wilkinson was also a member of the United States Naval Reserve, ultimately receiving the rank of Captain. He is a veteran of Desert Storm. Wilkinson represented District 52 in the Georgia Legislature from 2001 to 2017 and retired after 16 years of service. While in the House, Wilkinson worked on funding in the arts in Georgia and was a member of the House Ethics Committee. Wilkinson is currently the President of Fun Academy Studios. The Joe B. Wilkinson Papers primarily include those from Representative Wilkinson's time in office. This includes information for bills Wilkinson worked on, like Georgia Arts Funding and Adoptable dogs in Georgia. The collection also includes constituent information and information on the corporation of the city of Sandy Springs. The majority of the collection consists of physical files, but also includes seven panoramic photographs of the Georgia legislature from years 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015.
