This collection contains land grants, legal papers, farm records, photographs, correspondence, and artifacts documenting the history of the farm on which the Shields and Ethridge families ran from Colonial settlement through the 20th Century, including information naming enslaved persons considered property of the families. Included are plats of the farm as it grew, photographs of daily operations, business receipts reflecting the changing times, and a variety of manuals and catalogs of farm implements as the farm became more mechanized. There are many identified photographs, mainly from the 1920s, recording family trips, farm operations, and portraits.

The collection consists of typed and handwritten manuscripts of twelve short stories or novellas. Also includes some correspondence to and from editors regarding the publishing of his works.

This collection consists of architectural drawings that were created by William Ramsey's architectural firms from 1960 through 1996. Most of Ramsey's work is for architecture in Georgia, particularly the Atlanta area, with a notable exception consisting of drawings submitted for a City of Boston competition. His drawings include numerous plans for parks such as Heritage Park in Oconee County and University Center (an urban renewal park) in Atlanta. The collection has Ramsey's public housing designs for the Atlanta Housing Authority Project and campus master plans for various Georgia college (including UGA) campuses. In addition, there are drawings for subdivisions, single homes, condominiums and apartments in Atlanta and around the State.

The collection consists of cigarette cards depicting actresses, singers, and other female entertainers of American stage, vaudeville, and music-hall acts. The cards include the portrait, name of the star, and an advertisement for tobacco products.

This collection contains administrative history including planning, proposals, minutes, correspondence, annual reports, photographs and financial reports regarding the various educational programs that the Center developed.

The collection consists of records of the Southern Forest Institute from 1939-1946 and 1961-1979. The collection includes records of the Southern Forest Disease and Insect Council, the Southern Forest Research Council, the Southern Pine Beetle Action Council, the Hardwood Forestry Research Fellowship, and photographs from the Pulpwood Conservation Association. These records document the problems of disease and insects facing Southern forests, research undertaken to combat the problems, and publicity material used to educate the public.

Photographs of people and subjects that have a connection to the University of Georgia. Generated by UGA's Public Relations (Office of Public Affairs), these photographs include pictures of numerous faculty, students, alumni and benefactors. There are also many pictures of buildings around campus.

This collection consists of records documenting the history of litigation over property ownership and development on St. Simons Island, Georgia between 1967 and 2005. Court cases included in the collection are Cherry and Mobley v. Hopkins, Coast House v. Cherry and Rolleston / Cherry v. Rolleston, Hamby v. Hopkins, Wiedmeyer v. Hopkins, and Hopkins v. Curry. Records in the collection include legal documents such as briefs, transcripts, contracts, and exhibit materials; notes; correspondence; newspaper clippings; land and tax records; plats; maps; drawings; photographs; and audiovisual recordings.

The collection consists of drafts, corrected typescripts, and galley proofs for published and unpublished works of Boles particularly for Glory Day, Limner, and Mississippi Burning.

The Aubrey Morris papers includes drafts, researched and written by Morris, of several WSB Radio productions including editorials (1981-1989), Dateline America (1975-1976), and Georgia Crossroads (1983). The collection includes certificates, photographs, plaques, scrapbooks, correspondence, news wire reports, internal memoranda, and audiovisual material related to Morris' career. There are audio recordings of Dateline America, The World Today (1983-1984), and Georgia Crossroads (1983) and several films including Ernest Vandiver in Milledgeville, Georgia.
