Series one consists of scrapbook material kept by Leila Mize pertaining to her activities in school and as a teacher and home demonstration agent. There are documents about the Cooperative Extension Service, genealogical materials on the Telford, Ritchie, and Tuck families, Moina Michael, Lurline Collier, the Old Greenville Presbyterian Church, S.C., Hebron Presbyterian Church, and information about her daughter, Jessie Julia Mize. In addition, there are report cards, programs, photographs, and correspondence chiefly between Leila Mize and Jessie Mize but including a letter from Richard B. Russell to Charles Mize. Series two has documents concentrating on Jessie Mize. Among other things, there are news clippings, correspondence, photographs, booklets, a House of Representative Resolution, certificates, diplomas, a memory book, and a sampling of Jessie Mize's publications along with her G-Book. Additionally, there are notes belong to LG Hardman and a certificate and diploma belonging to Jessie's father, Charles A. Mize.

The collection consists of the papers of James Walter Mason from 1890-1958 and includes correspondence, questionnaires, news clippings, memorabilia, and photographs relating mainly to Mason's book, The Class of 1897, about his 50th year University of Georgia reunion.

This collection consists of genealogy, correspondence, writing, legal documents, printed material, photographs, and scrapbooks. Most of the correspondence is to Lollie Belle Wylie from other writers, including some famous authors such as Jack London and F. Scott Fitzgerald. There are also extensive family history resources, as well as newspaper writing of Lollie Belle Wylie, and historical writing by Augusta King.

The periodicals series of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame collections consists of magazines, newspapers, and tearsheets associated with music figures from Georgia. These include articles from the national music press and from city newspapers, as well as advertisements from a wide variety of sources.

The collection consists of building plans for the University of Georgia's Main Library and Science Library.

The collection consists of papers of the Kell family from 1857-1914, 1945. The papers contain the manuscript of John McIntosh Kell's book RECOLLECTIONS OF A NAVAL LIFE; an untitled manuscript by Kell's daughter Evelyn Kell d'Antignac regarding the friendship of slaves for their masters; correspondence from Kell and his wife, Blanche to their daughter Carolyn Kell at Fauquier Institute in Virginia and between other family members and friends; a diary (1907-1908) of Blanche Kell; photographs of family and shipmates of Kell; and a biographical sketch of Kell.

This collection contains teaching materials, artifacts, records, and correspondence regarding Mary Blount Green, her husband John B. Green, and their son Ronald. It also contains correspondence and records of her parents, Charles and Alice Andrews, and other relatives in the Bowen and Lamar families. Also contains the "Bowen Bible," featuring birth dates of enslaved people

The collection consists of family sheets, photographs, newspaper clippings and related materials.

The Tate Society papers contain files documenting their activities from their beginning in 1990, as well as materials related to Dean Tate himself. Of particular interest in the latter catagory is a transcript of one of Tate's renowned campus tours, seemingly corrected and annotated by Tate himself.
