There are photographs and slides of the sand pit, its operation, machinery, and employees, along with some family photographs.

Brown Brothers Sand Company (located in Howard, Georgia), was started in 1903 as the result of a prank by brothers John, O.C., Rod, Lewis, and William Brown. In later years the company was operated by Carl Brown and his son Steve.
