There are also several letters from John Marsh to his family concerning his wife's death.

Consists of materials documenting the Akerman family members' extensive legal careers, especially Emory Akerman's work on voting rights for Black citizens in Florida and his relationship with the NAACP in the 1940s. Includes Emory's correspondence with members of the NAACP, a complaint filed against the city of St. Petersburg, Florida, which led to Black citizens voting for the first time in the city's white primary, and materials documenting his bid for Congress, which he ultimately lost to Joseph Hendricks.

This collection contains correspondence from several family members concerning personal matters, medical research, and business in the Athens area. It features a rich collection of photographs, journals, and scrapbooks, as well as numerous property, estate, business, and legal documents from the Moss family and the R.L. Moss Manufacturing Company. Some highlights include photographs from early Tallulah Falls, extensive University of Georgia class of 1897 materials, a small selection of Civil War letters, prohibition literature, Athens Womans Club records having to do with Tallulah Falls Industrial School, 1918 influenza posters, and a rich assortment of blueprints, photographs, and brochures that illustrate various aspects of life in the early 20th Century.

This collection contains genealogical research materials on the Vaughn, Clark, Read, and associated families, and that of other Twiggs and Oglethorpe County families. It has correspondence between Francis G. Clark and Bessie Vaughn Clark during their college courtship and through the first few years of their marriage, often referencing employment difficulties during the Depression. Other correspondence includes letters to and from Francis Clark, Jr. during his time aboard the USS Abiity in the early 1960s. There are a number of Civil War letters from members of the Read family as well. Also included are notes, copies, photographs, legal documents, and narratives.

The collection consists of personal correspondence of the Bacon and Cox families and records relating to the Cox College and Conservatory and its predecessors, Cox College and Southern Female College. The personal correspondence is comprised mainly of letters (1853-1886) from Milton E. Bacon to his children. Written after his tenure at SFC, Bacon is living in Okolona, then Aberdeen, Mississippi where he is involved in female academies. The letters discuss mainly family news, emphasizing the education of his grandchildren and his current position. The collection also includes the personal correspondence of Charles C. Cox (1883-1905) mainly to and from his wife Alice Bacon Cox, his daughter Alice Cox, and his friend Clem P. Steed of Macon, Georgia.
