The collection consists of correspondence and political ephemera of Shannon Clay Douglass. Correspondences concern a variety of political matters; correspondents include numerous political figures, including Missouri statehouse members, senators, and congressmen. Political ephemera includes automobile passes for presidential inaugurations in 1965 and 1977; handbook of Political and Election Facts of the 1928 Presidential Campaign; diagram and directions for the eleventh annual reception and dinner to meet President McKinley and members of the Cabinet.

The collection consists of photographs and autographs collected by Ellis D. Robb and Adelaide Robb, and correspondence to the Robbs relating to their acquisition. The collection consists of three newspaper clippings regarding the Society for the Preservation of Old Athens (undated), and the constitution and by-laws of the Society for the Preservation of Old Athens (circa 1960).
