The collection consists of three scrapbooks. The Utica Observer-Dispatch and The Utica Daily Press, Utica, New York scrapbook contains newspaper articles regarding National Newspaper Week, departments running the newspapers, activities and importance of the press, and freedom of the press. The scrapbook also contains names of editors of each paper (Emlyn Evans, Charles King, Paul Williams, and Harold Moore). A letter to Dean John E. Drewry, Henry W. Grady School of Journalism, University of Georgia, indicates that the scrapbook of the Utica newspapers is an entry in the Newspaper Association Managers, Inc. National Newspaper Week contest. The Yakima Morning Herald and The Yakima Daily Republic, Yakima, Washington scrapbook contains newspaper articles, editorials and advertisements from the Yakima newspapers printed during National Newspaper Week in 1951. A letter to Dean John E. Drewry concerns what newspapers in Yakima, Washington are doing to promote National Newspaper Week. The WSAV-TV, Savannah, Georgia scrapbook contains the station's entries in the Associated Press Awards Competition in 1963. Each page indicates category, title of show nominated, and has a GAPBA News Awards entry blank, photographs or colorful sketches, and information about the show or stories nominated. Titles of show and stories include Eleventh hour, Dateline Savannah, 3 for the show, Candid opinion, The death of President Kennedy, and Coverage of integration demonstration.

The collection consists of ten exhibit quality posters from the Georgia Humanities Council concerning Native Americans from Georgia and the Southeast.

This collection consists of the 1981 NCATE (National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education) report for UGA's Department of Educational Psychology's School Psychology program.

The collection consists of six volumes of negatives (color and black & white) depicting buildings, street scenes, and aerial views of Atlanta and the surrounding area. The images include Peachtree Arcade, High Museum, Atlanta Civic Center, Fulton Co. Stadium, Stone Mountain, Regency Hotel, Peachtree Center, Kimball House, Atlanta Arts Institute, First National Bank, C&S Bank, Merchandise Mart, and the Atlanta Jazz Festival.

The collection consists of photographs taken by Wilbur G. Kurtz during the filming of Gone With the Wind in Atlanta (Ga.) from 1938-1939. Primarily street, rural, or train depot scenes, the collection also contains photographs of Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, and other actresses and actors.

The collection consists of one notebook belonging to Nellie Ellsworth, circa 1887. The notebook contains handwritten account statements, notes regarding oral examinations, poems, and a music score.

The collection consists of promotional materials relating to the New England Company's (Boston, Mass.) sale of land lots in New England City, Dade County, Georgia from 1889-1894. The materials include a plat map of New England City, blank forms for stock sales, lists of stockholders, meeting notices, as well as brochures, pamphlets, and flyers illustrating the New England Company's investment potential and mining plans for Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

The collection consists of records of the New England Mississippi Land Company dating 1785-1826. Records include correspondence, minutes, resolutions, notes, receipts, and lists of holdings documenting land transactions in Georgia, particularly Yazoo land speculation. Many of the documents pertain to Perez Morton and his involvement in the company.

The collection consists of a single photograph taken at the Exposition, depicting a large company of men posing in military attire. In the background are men dressed in civilian clothing, including John A. Stephens, who had previously served as a Confederate lieutenant in the 15th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry.
