The collection consists of the accounts ledger of Dr. J. B. Carlton for his medical practice in Athens, Georgia from 1869-1870. Entries include name of patient, reason for visit, medicine dispensed, and price. Some entries include name of the treated and payment with such items as wood or a cow. The ledger includes a name index for each year with designations beside names if the person was a student, factory worker, or lived outside Athens.

Abstract Or Scope:
J.B. Stoner, a Georgia native, was a prominent member of the Ku Klux Klan, the segregationist National States' Rights Party, and founder of the Stoner Christian Anti-Jewish Party. In 1977, Stoner was indicted, and was later convicted and imprisoned, for the 1958 bombing of Bethel Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. He ran for numerous public offices including governor of Georgia in 1970. This collection contains Stoner's gubernatorial campaign poster and a flier for a 1974 meeting of the National States' Rights Party.

The collection consists of 4 color prints of wall murals (scenics) painted by Deltil in 1831. They are being advertised for sale by A.L. Diament & Company; each contains an explanation of how the piece was originally made and a description of the panel. The four are: the Picnic, Wild Boar, Red Stag, and Wild Duck. Each show various hunting scenes, often with men, horses, and dogs.
