The collection consists of photographs removed from the book Jarrell Plantation: A History by Victoria Reeves Gunn. The numbered photographs, an aerial photo of the plantation, a brief history and color charts are included.

The collection consists of a Depression-era grocery store ledger recording monthly accounts of various individuals from Jasper County, Georgia. Also included in the ledger is information regarding the Jasper County Relief Administration.

The collection consists of the accounts ledger of Dr. J. B. Carlton for his medical practice in Athens, Georgia from 1869-1870. Entries include name of patient, reason for visit, medicine dispensed, and price. Some entries include name of the treated and payment with such items as wood or a cow. The ledger includes a name index for each year with designations beside names if the person was a student, factory worker, or lived outside Athens.

The collection consists of one letter: dated near Dalton, Georgia, February 24, 1864, "To Miss Mary M. Kennedy, Care of her mother," signed "J. Brandon Kennedy," regarding Kennedy's paternal love and esteem for his daughter in case he is killed in the war.

This oral history collection is a part of the larger Look Forward project, which was created as a celebration of the centennial of the Pulitzer Prizes. The collection consists of one monthly report of J.C. Standford, issued by the University of Georgia, Athens. Dated July 31, 1874, and signed by Charles Morris as secretary, the report shows Standford's studies and grades.

The collection consists of two typed letters: dated October 1, 1944, Northampton, Massachusetts, "Dear Mrs. Cumming," signed "Jean C.;" dated November 13, 1944, Northampton, Massachusetts, "Dear Mrs. Cumming," signed "Jean Charlot." Both letters concern Charlot's book, Charlot Murals in Georgia.

The collection consists of 4 color prints of wall murals (scenics) painted by Deltil in 1831. They are being advertised for sale by A.L. Diament & Company; each contains an explanation of how the piece was originally made and a description of the panel. The four are: the Picnic, Wild Boar, Red Stag, and Wild Duck. Each show various hunting scenes, often with men, horses, and dogs.
