Scope and content:

The collection consists of 4 color prints of wall murals (scenics) painted by Deltil in 1831. They are being advertised for sale by A.L. Diament & Company; each contains an explanation of how the piece was originally made and a description of the panel. The four are: the Picnic, Wild Boar, Red Stag, and Wild Duck. Each show various hunting scenes, often with men, horses, and dogs.

Jean Julien Deltil was a French artist who lived from 1791-1863. He often portrayed America in his work.
