Included are photocopies of genealogical records, lineage of revolutionary ancestors, photocopies of newspaper articles, and "Towns Family Data, Collection of Patrick Cleburne King, Jr., Fort Gaines, Georgia, 1974." The folder was assembled by William H. Davidson in 1972 and 1974, and research collected covers 1788-1974 (approximately).

The collection includes photographs of Jack Izlar, Sr., his fellow servicemen, and area locals during Izlar's U.S. Navy service in the Pacific Theater of World War II. It also includes a genealogy of the Jones family, a 1929 motor vehicle registration card issued to William William Jones, a handwritten letter from Izlar to his mother inscribed on a menu for the 1943 U.S. Naval Air Station Thanksgiving dinner, a newsletter from The Shoreliner announcing the end of the war, a photocopied announcement for the Jones-Knight wedding, and an official certificate of registration from the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation recognizing William William Jones' immigration to the United States from Wales.

The collection consists of a two-page genealogical table of the Twiggs family (descendants of Thomas Twiggs, died in Virginia circa 1614) was compiled by Alexander Mc C. Duncan about 1910 from records furnished him by Eugenia Washington. It covers the years 1608 to the late eighteenth century listing five generations of descendants. Although not a complete record, it does chronicle much of the early history of this prominent Georgia family. Also included is a note to Duncan from F. F. Screven pertaining to the genealogical table.

Collection includes the correspondence and papers of Janie Warren Hollingsworth (Mrs. Julian C.) Lane, former president of the Georgia Women's Democratic Club. Two folders contain correspondence with family including her two sons, Tilden Burdette Lane and Dr. Julian Curtis Lane, as well as with her siblings Bertha Hollingsworth Brannen, Thomas Ashton Hollingsworth, Isabel Hollingsworth Cross, Clyde Dixon Hollingsworth and her brother Clayton H. Hollingsworth, former superintendent of Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring, Georgia. Folder three contains correspondence regarding Lane's genealogical research. Final folder contains political correspondence and papers, including a letter from Richard B. Russell, a speech Lane delivered during Franklin D. Roosevelt's visit to Georgia, and a letter concerning Lane's candidacy for State Senate.
