Dozier, Georgia State Tax Commissioner, business records and ephemera from the Dozier Lumber Company in Athens, Georgia, later sold and renamed Tanner Lumber Company. Also included are papers and correspondence regarding family real estate holdings Hutcheson Estates and Greenstate, Inc., J. Bryson Tanner Jr. school and U.S. Air Force ROTC papers, family clippings, and photographs of Frank Ritchie during his service in World War II.

Dean William Tate photographs and memorabilia, 1880-1992

University Archives obtained these materials from Dean Tate's son, Jeff Tate of Athens Georgia. Much of the collection was removed for preservation from two scrapbooks assembled after Tate's death by his wife, the late Susan Frances Barrow Tate (1908-2003). Along with photographs documenting Tate and his family there are views of the University and University activities, materials related to University Chancellor David C. Barrow and Dean Tate's track shoes from his record setting days as a student.

Adams' books, furniture and wardrobe in rooms no. 40 & 41 in the west wing of the Newton House, corner of Broad & College, signed June 6, 1868; Virginia Home Insurance Company, Richmond, Virginia, insures F. S. Thompson & Company's 15 bales of cotton, signed February 21, 1871.
