This collection consists of personal papers and clippings from WWII including a handmade box containing books on marine navigation. There are several WWII awards and medals. Some papers and published articles are included from Dr. Saveland's involvement in local geography and development.

This collection (1918-1965) is composed of both Pound's administrative reference files and his personal records. The materials include such items as lecture notes, photographs and sample Georgia voting ballots from 1930 through 1948. Of particular interest is Pound's scrapbook covering the Georgia Conference on Atomic Energy from 1946.

The collection consists of a handwritten copy of a constitution of the American Crusaders Grand Lodge of Mississippi (undated). The document sets forth the society's goals to protect the U.S. government and constitution from any "changes and innovations" of the "Republican or Radical party," to fight against such changes, and to uphold the supremacy of the white race.

The collection consists of a scrapbook compiled by Vivian Heath which includes most of the non-official records of First Lt. Tommy Heath's stay in Korea, as well as earlier clippings and keepsakes.

The collection consists of papers compiled, copied, and composed by Myra Lake Howell, undated, but possibly in the 1960s. Papers concern Native American history, and include Native American legends. Titles of works compiled or copied by Howell include: American Indian Legends by students of the United States Indian School, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, prepared in the History Department under the direction of Mrs. Mary Yarnall Henderson; Indian Legends by students, Carlisle Indian School, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, from the collection of school newspapers at the Herman Bosler Public Library, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Titles composed by Howell include: The Comanche Centaurs and Quanah Parker(The Prairie Centaurs, Part I); The Jacksboro Trials of Satanta and Big Tree(The Prairie Centaurs, Part II); Kicking Bird Prince of the Kiowas. The collection also includes a photocopy of pages from Texana, volume IV, concerning Quanah Parker.

The collection consists of records of the Dozier Land Company (Athens, Ga.) and its predecessors, the American Land Company (Athens, Ga.) and the National Land Company (Augusta, Ga.), from 1905-1920 and contains mostly correspondence relating to residential real estate development in Augusta and Athens, Georgia including Oconee Place. Correspondents include Thomas H. Dozier, James Howard Dozier, W.B. Dozier, Olin A. Dozier, Athens Mutual Insurance Company. Correspondence discusses segregated homes for African Americans. Discussion of breeding Hereford cattle and concerns of fever ticks. Of interest is correspondence relating to the hiring of balloon ascensionists as a publicity gimmick.
