The collection consists of administrative records for the Georgia Academy of Science.

The collection consists of 368 booklets dealing with newspaper clippings, court minutes, and minutes of various county departments. Some are typescripts, carbon copies of the typescripts, and handwritten copies of the original county records. These were compiled by the Historical Records Survey from 1938-1941, and were deposited in the Atlanta office. When the WPA office closed, the records were dispersed to various institutions in Georgia. A calendar compiled in 1971 by Susan Tate accompanies the collection.

The collection documents the business transactions of the Union City Realty & Trust Co., and Consolidated Trust Co., its owners and major investors: John A. Phillips, J. H. Harris, Ida Harris, Mrs. M. E. Phillips; their creditors, partners, and many legal transactions. It proves an interesting perspective on the founding of Union City by land speculators complete with ad campaign promotions and possibly exploitations. The collection is comprised of correspondence, affidavits, depositions, land grant copies, land surveys, bonds, deeds, abstracts of titles, mortgages, court summons, petitions, settlements, judgements, FiFa's, promissory notes, accounts, receipts, stock certificates, news clippings, business cards, a will and a broadside. The greatest concentration of material is within the 1870-1911 period.

The collection consists of records of coal purchases in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina, from 1941-1947. Each record includes dates of purchase and delivery, amount purchased, price, name of purchaser, and destination of delivery.

The collection consists of correspondence to and from Dr. Albert B. Saye.

This collection represents the scope of the duties for William Prokasy during his tenure at the University of Georgia. The majority of the collection consists of correspondence and memoranda, meeting agendas and minutes, annual reports, and reviews. Also included are committee files that precede Prokasy's appointment.

The Georgiana Vertical files, University of Georgia consists of clippings on the history of the University of Georgia from its inception to 1998. The collection consists primarily of clippings from various Georgia newspapers but occasionally has other printed resources as well as cross-references to other collections.

The provost files in this collection cover the period from 1992 to 2017 and include committee work and planning for the following events: Commencement, Convocation, Honor's Day, Special Topics Workshops, Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professorships, program lectures, and university awards banquets.

The collection consists of photographs (undated) portraying miscellaneous scenes at the University of Georgia. Images include buildings, sporting events, and students participating in various events.

This collections contains a multitude of art department files during Francis A. Ruzicka's term as chair of the University of Georgia Department of Art. These files range from meeting minutes, faculty meetings, manuals for different art and architecture styles, art booklets and pamphlets, University of Wisconsin notebooks and personal papers belonging to Mr. Ruzicka, proposals, correspondence, annual reports of various art schools made by the National Association of Schools of Art (NASA), syllabus and assignment papers for various art classes, photographs, drawings, slides, and clippings and newsletters.
