This collection includes images of politicians, celebraties, and newsworthy people. The photographs are primarily offical press photos, AP photowires, or UPI telephotos.

This collection contains research, litigation files, organizational correspondence and notes regarding cases and issues that effected wildlife, wilderness areas, and the environment of Cumberland Island. It includes subjects ranging from feral horses, hogs and deer to property issues with Plum Orchard and Greyfield Ltd., driving on the beach, permits, fire management, and National Seashore designation.

The correspondence and business files include general adminstrative files for WSB-TV and Radio, Cox Broadcasting Corp. (CBC), Clear Channel, and KTVU; departmental meeting minutes; correspondence regarding programming and WSB anniversaries; Elmo Ellis' files including scripts from speeches and broadcasts; and information about the Shining Light Award, a joint award give by Atlanta Gas Light Company and WSB.

The collection consists of many folders of loose material including clippings, letters, drawings of Epps planes, writings, and photographs. Of particular note are several good aerial views of Athens and the University of Georgia (circa 1920-1930s). Also of interest are several pages of reminiscences by Ben Epps, Jr., in which he writes about his early life and flying. Additional material received in 2002 includes flight manuals, membership cards, transcripts of interviews, etc. The most important item in this collection is a scrapbook (1904-1963) which documents Epps' life as a builder and flyer of airplanes. Included are over 200 photographs, as well as some clippings and letters. A few photographs, etc. can be found here of other pilots, planes, and Epps' children who were also flyers.

The Photographs and Sketches consists of photographs of the Olin Downes and the Downes and Miles families from approximately 1910-1955. Includes photographs of Olin Downes; his wives Marion Davenport Downes and Irene Miles Downes; children Dorothy Downes Williams, Nancy Downes Smith, and Edward Downes; Raymond Miles and the Miles family; and various public figures or friends. The series also contains postcards of various locales in the United States and Europe.
