Scope and content:

The collection consists of three scrapbooks (the third scrapbook being dis-bound and placed in two boxes) containing newspaper articles written about and by Joseph S. Stewart from 1889-1934. Articles regard topics in secondary education in Georgia, the development and growth of high schools in Georgia, and Stewart's involvement. Scrapbooks also contain correspondence, photographs, and reports written be Stewart while professor of Secondary Education at University of Georgia.
