The collection consists of letters dated 1859-1938, deeds, finances, business and personal, such as cancelled checks, check stubs, bank books, tax receipts, legal documents, such as indentures, notes, cases, manuscripts, i.e. poems and recipes, pamphlets, printed materials, books, newspaper clippings, post cards, Christmas cards, Easter cards, valentines, programs, broadsides, sunday school cards, trade cards, mementos, and other miscellaneous items. The material deals with the Wray family of Wrayswood, Greene County and Athens, and the family of C. W. Harris and Miss Sarah H. Harris of Winterville, Wrayswood, Madison and Athens.
