Gilbert of Ridgefield, Fairfield Co., Connecticut, from U.S. Post Office Department, accepting Gilbert's proposal "for conveying the United States mail from July 1, 1885 to June 30, 1889, on Massachusetts Route No. 3209, between North Rutland and Princeton Depot, at # [sic]154 a year."
