Scope and content:

The collection consists of typescript copies of poems and xerox copies of other manuscripts written by Mr. McConnell while with the armed forces in 1943, and at the University of Georgia. Titles are as follows: 1.) Spring at the University and other poems; 2.) Lovely Lake Lanier and other poems; 3.) Information about the Cook Islands and some other island groups of Polynesia, an English-Maori dictionary is included; 4.) Beginner's lessons in Maori.
