Scope and content:

The collection consists of a scrapbook presented to Cornelis De Witt Willcox, from "Papa," containing University of Georgia, Athens, ephemera mostly pertaining to Willcox's college career (1871-1880). Included are monthly grade reports, dance cards, examinations, lecture outlines, Phi Kappa Society ribbons, and programs and invitations to University activities.

Biographical / historical:

Cornelis De Witt Willcox (1861-1938) was born in Geneva, Switzerland, and attended the University of Georgia in the late 1870s.
