Biographical / historical:

Benjamin Franklin Coile (1909-1991) was an Athens, Georgia machine shop proprietor, inventor, and consultant for the design, fabrication and modification of hosiery industry machines. He owned the Keller Machine Company that manufactured and repaired machines for knitting men's argyle socks.
