The diary includes information on planting, the persons enslaved by Richard Trible, and other people such as Colonel John Billups, "Mr. Dearing," and "Dr. Morton"

Biographical / historical:

Richard Thomas (R.T.) Trible (1822-1894) was a farmer in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. He married Jane E. Crowley (1826-1897) in 1844.
