This collection includes letters to Mrs. Mary Winters, most of which regards the death of her daughter Verna Jewel Winters Peace, and John Miles Monroe Winters' ledger for their peach farm in Bradley, Georgia.
- Biographical / historical:

John Miles Monroe Winters and Mary Winters operated a peach farm in Bradley, Georgia at the beginning of the 20th century until John's death in 1926. One of their daughters, Vera Jewel Winters Peace, graduated from the State Normal School in Athens, Georgia in 1920 and went on to teach in Alabama before suddenly dying of dehydration from morning sickness in 1924.
