This collection contains five pages of architectural drawings of an unidentified stone church and accompanying school building.
- Biographical / historical:

John A. Cory (1819-1887), of Carlisle, Cumberland (now Cumbria), England was an architect with offices in Carlisle and Durham. He built several churches in the north of England beginning in the 1840s. He was County Surveyor of Cumberland 1862-68 before entering into partnership with the architect C.J. Ferguson. Some of his church designs include; the Church of St. Peter in Ullswater, Church of the Holy Trinity in Cumbria, and St. Bridget, Bridekirk, Cumbria.
