This collection contains Anne Boyd's genealogical notes on the Boyd family as well as letters, postcards, deeds, receipts, and photographs of related families in Georgia during the 19th and 20th centuries.
The bulk of this collection contains the papers of Minnie Branham Stonestreet, a writer for the Works Progress Administration's Federal Writers' Project during the Great Depression. It includes her notes and drafts for a guidebook of Washington, Georgia; oral histories; and some notes on her work as a genealogist. Also of note are the papers of Luke and Eliza Turner, parents of Mary Mattox. Luke Turner served as a state representative of Wilkes County from 1838-1839.
