Dr. Thomas N. Lumsden (1925-2014) was a physician, local researcher, and published author from Sautee-Nacoochee Valley, White County, Georgia. Dr. Lumsden practiced medicine from 1950-1993 and conducted local history and archeology research in Northeast Georgia, specifically the Nacoochee Valley area. In 1989, he published his book Nacoochee Valley: Its Times and Its Places. Dr. Lumsden passed away on January 17, 2014.
