Scope and content:

Consists of two handwritten manuscripts containing notes by Gustavus A. Hartrampf. The volumes were later published as what is now known as Hartrampf's Vocabularies: Synonyms, Antonyms, Relatives. Although the manuscripts are mostly undated, the year 1922 is written inside the front cover of one, although faded.

Biographical / historical:

Gustavus A. Hartrampf (1875-1934), originally from Germany, lived and worked on his book Hartrampf's Vocabularies in Atlanta, Georgia.
