Contains items pertaining to the history of the Athens Choral Society from 1971-2014. Includes artwork, biographical sketches, concert programs, newspaper clippings, letters, photographs, and promotional materials within seventeen scrapbooks.

Biographical / historical:

The Athens Choral Society formed in 1971 in Athens, Georgia and is still very active within the community, presenting two to three free performances a year in addition to a summer fundraiser.

Though the collection is open for research, the audiovisual recordings do not have reference copies; however, reference copies are available upon request. Audiovisual research requests are dependent upon the format and condition of the recordings.
