Consists mainly of materials covering Green's time as an executive with Kraft Foods, Inc. Bulk of the materials span from 1950-1975 while the political materials cover the late 1980s-1994. Notable items include programs from when Green participated in Harvard University's graduate school advanced management program, extensive materials showing his strong ties to the Republican party, many programs and advertisements documenting Kraft Foods during his tenure as an executive, and several photographs and scrapbooks featuring Green with notable celebrities.

Chester R. Green was born in Albany, Georgia on July 9, 1915. He enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and served in WWII. He worked for Kraft Foods for over 50 years, holding executive positions and serving as Corporate Senior Vice President of Marketing, Advertising, and Sales Worldwide. During his time with Kraft, the company went on to sponsor the Junior Miss Contest, televise the Country Music Association Awards, and premiere Kraft Music Hall television program. Chester retired from Kraft in 1980 and resided in Nashville, TN from then until his death on October 9, 2017.
