Biographical / historical:

Dr. Erwin James Eldridge (1833-1902) was a surgeon with the 16th Georgia Infantry Regiment and then with Cobb's Legion, serving in Virginia and Georgia. He married Emma Ronaldson and resided in Flat Pond (Lee County) and Americus (Sumter County) Georgia.
