The collection primarily consists of costume designs and sketches, fabric samples, and photographs of costumes from a wide variety of productions. Also included are Winograd's contracts and commercial business records, files related to Production Values, Inc., and a small amount of early sketches and fashion drawings.
- Biographical / historical:

A longtime resident of the Atlanta area, Judith Winograd designed and created costumes for dozens of productions across Georgia between 1969 and the early 2000s. Winograd worked on a wide range of productions, varying from children's theater to opera, including designing for the Academy Theatre, Alliance Theatre, Kelly's Seed & Feed, Theater Emory, and Atlanta Opera Studio. She served as an in-house designer, and later executive director, of Production Values, Inc, a nonprofit theater costumer that catered to the performing arts nonprofits, from its founding in 1984 until 1995. In addition to her work in theater costuming, Winograd created commissioned apparel under the company name J. Dragon-Atlanta.
