The collection consists of land transfers in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, to and from Richard Dowdy, during the years 1822-1854. Deeds are for tracts or parcels of land on the waters of Clouds Creek, Big Clouds Creek, and Little Clouds Creek. Also included is a handwritten copy of the last will and testament of Thomas Moody.
