Samuel Abbott Green (1830-1919) was an American physician-turned-politician from Massachusetts who served as mayor of Boston in 1882. He also served as a Colonel in the American Civil War.
Wymberley Jones De Renne (1853-1916) helped to maintain the Wormsloe estate, which his father George Wymberley Jones De Renne (born George Frederick Tilghman Jones) owned and left to his grandchildren. Wormsloe is now a state historic site near Savannah, Georgia, that is comprised of the remains of Wormsloe Plantation, which was originally established by one of Georgia's founders and a De Renne ancestor, Noble Jones. Wymberley De Renne also published several works for the Georgia Historical Society, continuing the work of his father, who published a periodical collection of rare early Georgia documents under the title "Wormsloe Quartos."
